A Haitian man has amazingly been pulled from rubble in the destroyed city of Port au Prince.

After surviving 27 days under rubble from the January earthquake, the anonymous 28-year-old man was dehydrated and wasted when taken from a crumbled building by rescue workers.

According to the rescuers, he had been given water during his ordeal.

The man is now being treated at a field hospital at the airport in Port au Prince.

Less than 140 people were pulled alive from the rubble in Haiti's capital after the January earthquake in which more than 150,000 people were killed.

Doctors have described the man's condition as reasonable, even though he is still sick and unable to speak.
